Topped Off/Bottomed Out

A quick-start, blank-slate rpg system based on my previous game, Castles and Cliches.  Pick a profession, an unrelated skill, and two pieces of equipment, and your character is ready to go.  Those skills and equipment decide what is possible for your character, and then a four-sided die roll determines if your actions succeed.  Beware, though, your roll may be Topped Off for a bonus or Bottomed Out for a penalty depending on the situation your character is in!

For 2+ players, one of whom acts as a Game Master.  Requires a player character sheet square (attached to the rules sheet) and a D4.
